Shawinigan – April 4, 2023: Koda today announces a brand new shareholding and changes allowing it to focus exclusively on geomatics and the development of solutions with geospatial capabilities.
On March 1, 2024, a transaction took place where businessmen Carl Côté and Luc Vaillancourt purchased Koda shares. Charles De Grandpré, geomatics expert and founder of CDG Developer and Koda, remains a shareholder and obviously an important element for the future of Koda.
- This new Koda refocuses on geomatics with services such as:
- integration and processing of geographic data and information;
- tailor-made development of applications using cartography, geolocation and spatial analysis and exploiting geographic information;
- and new consulting services historically offered by Luc Vaillancourt such as:
- diagnosis of the situation;
- needs assesment;
- geomatization & modernization plan;
- technical specifications;
- implementation plan.
Koda is always able to serve any customer with needs and challenges related to geomatics and data exploitation. On the other hand, considering Koda’s historic clientele, the expertise of the team and the business development brought by the new owners, the themes of environment, natural resources, mining and renewable energy will be at the heart of major future initiatives.
